Sam is a Broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA LLC. Before joining Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA, he worked for 10 years as a project manager and estimator for large construction firms. He successfully managed millions of dollars in commercial construction with projects varying from large institutional buildings to small retail up-fits and everything in between. His intimate knowledge of the construction process is a major asset when assessing and selling commercial real estate for his clients.

In his first year of commercial brokerage, Sam chose to concentrate his efforts in Gaston County, NC. He sold three buildings in downtown Mt. Holly and currently has two key pieces listed. He worked with Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology to find land in Shelby, NC for their state of the art medical facility. He also negotiated leases for HRGC, Chop and Chisel and Rosenberger Site Solutions on the Western Side of Charlotte in the cities industrial corridor. This year, he helped Charlotte Metro Credit Union locate two pieces of land for bank branch development in the Charlotte Region. He also sold two landmark buildings for the City of Mount Holly. The Adrian Mill is 75,000 SF and will be redeveloped by Bisque Imports. The former Fire Station will be transformed into a local brewery with food service.

Last year Sam was admitted to the nationally acclaimed Coldwell Banker Commercial's Emerging Broker Training Program and graduated in May of 2017. Sam completed the course work ranked 1st among all participants. Admission to the EBT Program is highly competitive and the rigorous training program creates a successful brand of broker equipped to handle today's challenging market. This year, Sam completed his course requirements and passed the comprehensive exam qualifying him to be a CCIM Designee. He sat for the Exam in Chicago and was pinned at the closing ceremony.

Sam wrestled in college for West Virginia University where he was voted team captain twice and earned All-American honors. He lived and trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. He currently lives in Belmont, NC with his Wife Laura and their three children Camryn (16), Jackson (9) and Tyler (9).
